PFPS awarded contract to develop industry training course

Passive Fire protection Specialists Ltd were recently awarded a contract by PFPNet (the Passive Fire Protection Network industry group) to develop a training course targeted at inspectors and engineers who have responsibility for inspection of passive fire protection installations. In turn PFPNet are working with the Institute of Corrosion (ICorr) as the Institute needs to bring their training course for PFP up to modern day standards, ICorr chose PFPNet to work with because of the wide experience available in this subject area from the members of PFPNet.

PFPS bid to conduct this work in a competitive bidding process against a number of other organisations with extensive fire protection experience. The shortlist was very close however it was the detailed experience of the PFPS team that won the day. PFPS Director John Dunk and associates David Stowers and Robert Revell have between them over 100 years experience, both practical and theoretical, to bring to this project.
